Dr. Lillian Shen graduated from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1999, and has since then been working in private practice. Dr. Shen is our resident specialist on laser refractive procedures, including PRK, Custom LASIK, and Intralase.She is DPA, TPA, and LASIK co-management certified.Dr. Shen and her husband live in San Ramon and have three children.
Dr. Jeffrey Ko graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1973. He has over 30 years of private practice experience. In addition, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where he teaches optometry students.His specialties include hard to fit contact lenses and VDT (computer) vision correction.He is DPA, TPA, and LASIK co-management certified.
Dr. Tiana Leung received both her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to working at our practice, she is a clinical investigator at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry Clinical Research Center, where she conducts clinical trials on contact lenses and dry eyes.
She is TLG certified, and has presented scientific papers and posters at the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) conferences.
Carla is the office manager at Golden Gate Optometry. She has 20 years of experience in the optical industry and will be happy to assist you with your eye care needs.
Steven is a full-time staff member at Golden Gate Optometry, applying to optometry school this year. His favorite aspect about eye care is helping patients pick a frame that suits them.
